  1. Manage the NEMO project (European Consortium to develop the NEMO numerical platform for ocean modelling, cf. http://www.nemo-ocean.eu). Set-up appropriate arrangement for the successful and sustainable development of the NEMO System as a well organised, state-of-the-art ocean model code system suitable for both research and operational work.

  2. In charge of the organisation and steering of the NEMO System Team (30 experts, 6 European institutions: CMCC, CNRS, INGV, Mercator-océan, Met Office, NOC), responsible for the development and support of the NEMO modelling platform
